Stamps. A designer’s dream. One of the smallest but most perfectly formed vehicles on which to lavish their craft.
This six-set of stamps celebrate the enormously useful role man’s best friend plays in contemporary life and were timed to commemorate the centenary of the first police dogs used in the UK.
Working with world-renowned photographer Tim Flach, the camera was carefully panned as the dogs moved into view, so at large scale, the images actually appear quite blurred. But as they reduce down to postage stamp size, they capture the idea of movement beautifully.
