Cave de Lugny is the largest producer of wine in the Macon region of Burgundy in France. Struggling against the tide of brand-savvy New World producers, they approached us to help them reposition their old world wine for this new world market.

We created a single brand solution with a visual style which could be extended across a range of wines.

Unité as a name symbolises the bringing together of ingredients, growers and producers to create the highest quality product. It clearly positions the product as French in origin, but in an accessible and unstuffy way. And the label design and content — which draws on the traditional heraldic elements within the Cave de Lugny crest — is contemporary, strong and stylish.
